An Oath Should Mean Something

I once swore an Oath stating that I would support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I then spent almost 50,000 hours being ready to take a stand against the threat of Communism up to and including the giving of my life if necessary.
In an article in Encyclopedia Britannica it reads, "Communism, political and economic doctrine that aims to replace private property and a profit-based economy with public ownership and communal control of at least the major means of production (e.g., mines, mills, and factories) and the natural resources of a society. Communism is thus a form of socialism—a higher and more advanced form, according to its advocates. Exactly how communism differs from socialism has long been a matter of debate, but the distinction rests largely on the communists’ adherence to the revolutionary socialism of Karl Marx."
Today we have leaders in our own Government who have also sworn an Oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that at this hour seem to welcome with open arms this political and economic doctrine of Communism.
Just something to think about...
